About our Chief Veterinary Officer

Dr. Giles Little graduated from Western Veterinary College in Saskatchewan in 1997.

In 2000, he moved to Seattle and worked for Banfield Pet Hospital as an associate and then a "Partner Doctor". He opened a franchise with Banfield in 2005, and 2 in 2008 which he sold in 2016. For 6 years Dr. Little represented the franchise owners along the west coast as a member of the advisory board. After selling the practices Dr. Little worked for a consolidator assisting in transitioning hospitals, and working with teams to help underperforming hospitals become successful.

Dr. Little has seen the ownership of hospitals move away from veterinarians and is excited to be working with PetSmart to bring veterinary ownership back.
